Key Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Design: Create effective and consistent designs for all communication channels and platforms; Re-purpose marketing assets to drive awareness of campaigns and company initiatives; Ensure work product complies with brand standards and is otherwise free of errors;
- Copy: Develop persuasive and strategic copy for campaigns and company initiatives to meet goals and objectives; Ensure copy is correct, compliant, and otherwise free of errors; Route and obtain necessary approvals
- Photograph: Photograph or manage photography for completed projects and company events.
- Production: Prepare, manage and establish consistency with RFP/RFQ and vendor pre-qualification package submissions from concept to final product with strict attention to detail.
- Internal Communication: Write, edit, and distribute content for employee consumption via company intranet, thePipeline newsletter and email.
- Project Management: Maintain content calendar for social media, intranet and other communication channels. Manage a project from start to finish. Utilize project management tool to keep team informed of project status; Ensure assigned projects are managed effectively, produced on time
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain integrity of brand within areas of responsibility, including consistency of brand elements, corporate boilerplate text, corporate graphics, etc.
- Organization: Maintain and update regularly all marketing materials such as resumes, project case studies, project photos, etc. Ensure all materials necessary to complete RFPs, marketing collateral, etc. are in stock and readily available.
- Community/ Industry Outreach: If schedule permits, represent Brandt at industry and community events (i.e., SMPS, AGC, Special Olympics etc.).
- Coordination: Set-up and coordinate meetings (conference room and teleconferencing). Organize other functions as needed (time, place, food, drink, electronic equipment, materials, etc.)
- Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.
Qualifications:
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 4-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications (or commensurate levels of skill, knowledge, and experience)
- 2-4 years of experience in B2B marketing, within AEC experience preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; able to tailor written materials to a variety of audiences
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and search engine optimization
- Strong creative skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and technology
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
