As we embark on numerous upcoming projects, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tilt Wall Superintendent to join our team.

    Position Overview: The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction of tilt wall warehouse projects in the Phoenix area. This position requires a strong background in tilt wall construction, particularly in warehouse, manufacturing, cold storage, or transportation facilities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in managing construction projects from start to finish.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Field Leadership

    • Lead the construction of tilt wall projects, from planning to project closeout.
    • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
    • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.

    Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards, specifications, and client expectations.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on the job site, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to identify and resolve any deficiencies.

    Resource Management:

    • Manage labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to optimize project productivity and cost-effectiveness.
    • Coordinate delivery schedules and logistics to ensure timely and accurate supply of materials and equipment.
    • Supervise subcontractors and vendors, providing guidance and support as needed.

    Communication and Collaboration:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site project activities, liaising with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate project progress, milestones, and issues effectively to all relevant parties.
    • Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
    • Generate regular progress reports and updates for project managers and clients.
    • Ensure compliance with all project documentation requirements and record-keeping standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tilt wall construction, with a focus on warehouse, manufacturing, cold storage, or transportation facilities.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects as a superintendent, preferably in a design-build environment.
    • Strong understanding of tilt wall construction methods, techniques, and best practices.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and proactively, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
    • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
