Position: Laser Technician/Operator Location: Corbin, KY Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

The Broken Token has opportunities for an entry-level Laser Tech at our new location in Corbin, KY. Broken Token offers generous discounts for company products and allows access to machinery for personal projects.

Responsibilities:

• Load and Run CNC Laser Machinery
• Attend to laser machines as they cut plywood, MDF, and acrylic
• Basic woodworking as needed using belt sanders and circular saw
• Approve or reject raw materials and finished laser-cut products with respect to quality standards
• Do random testing of products before packaging to ensure dimensions and functionality meet company standards
• Accurately report personal output for project/shift
• Start-up and shut down Laser Room
• Keeping Laser Machinery and work area clean
• Basic Machine Maintenance and Report to a supervisor about any machinery that is not working properly
• Assist with cleaning the laser room and adjacent spaces
• Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Has great attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self Starter and able to work independently
• Able to adjust quickly to changing assignments and projects
• Able to stand for extended periods of time during shift
• Able to bend over repeatedly throughout the day

Pluses:

• Previous woodworking experience (either professionally or in school)
• Previous machine shop experience
• Passionate about board games and LEGO
