Job Description
The Building People is seeking an Administrative Assistance in support of a Federal client.
Major Duties:
Serves as the first point of contract for requesting facility services and for reporting facility repair and maintenance requirements.
- File, Fax, copy, scan documents
- Preparing supply order forms
- Prepare shipping documents
- Prepare purchase request forms
- Obtain and issue name plates
- Prepare documentation for minor property control
- Log and track information on shared network drives
- Maintain and track inventory and research purchases
- Receive work requests, assign tacking numbers, and log in system
- Establish and maintain hard copy files and files housed on shared network drives
- Implement and monitor programs as directed by management, and see the programs through to completion
- Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines and fax machines
- Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items
- Respond to questions and requests for information
- Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed
- Provide support to Project Manager in developing client reports as needed
