Responsibilities: • Test wiring and other electrical components to make sure it’s properly connected • Perform maintenance and installation of electrical equipment in homes, businesses, and factories • Ensure that the wiring meets all building codes and standards for safety • Test newly installed electrical components to ensure proper function • Locate and correct electrical problems, including component installation and replacement Qualifications: • Strong communication skills, including tact and courtesy in dealing with others • Valid electrician license is required • Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs • Degree from electrician school is required • Willing to work in confined spaces, at great heights, and in all types of weather conditions Compensation: $28 hourly
