  • Responsibilities

    Maintenance Technician Position in Pittsburgh, PA, US:- The primary responsibility of this role is to perform maintenance and repairs on the company's locations in Pittsburgh, PA, US.- The tasks include addressing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical installations, and general building upkeep.- The main objective is to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repairs are carried out on the interior and exterior of the company's facilities. Responsibilities: • Performs routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems • Adjusts temperatures and airflow in accordance with tenant requests on building automation systems • Executes scheduled preventive maintenance such as rooftop unit, unit heater, radiant heating panel, hot water pump, and boilers • Answers tenant inquiries related to maintenance and mechanical problems, and communicates with management when external assistance is needed • Replaces lighting fixtures, light bulbs, ballasts, and ceiling tiles as necessary • Conducts plumbing repairs and upkeep as appointed • Repairs/replaces door hardware, automated entrances, and locking systems within client spaces • Investigate and solve any tenant issues or questions • Undertakes regular tests for fire protection, sprinkler, alarm systems, and other life safety systems • Performs other job duties as assigned Qualifications: • Possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license • Have a high school diploma or GED and preferably have completed additional technical school or certificate training courses • Demonstrate five or more years' worth of experience in building maintenance, with a working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing • Apply troubleshooting and analytical skills to complete tasks • Possess the ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions, rules, and policies • Show aptitude in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and numerical concepts (whole numbers, percentages) and the capacity to estimate arithmetic results without a calculator • Possess acute vision near and far, with peripheral vision and depth perception • Have basic computer skills Compensation: $26 - $28 hourly
