    We are looking for a capable and reliable general laborer to join our team. You’ll take direction from the project foreman to help prepare job sites, load and unload construction materials, remove debris, assist team members, and perform any other general labor needed to get the job done right. You should be great at following instructions, with a can-do attitude. Responsibilities: • Support tradespeople and heavy equipment workers to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing and any other aspect of the project • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure you and your team members are free from injury • Take away any remaining tools, trash, and building materials once construction is complete to ensure a clean work site • Remove any trash, debris or hazardous materials from the area to prep the site before construction begins • Work with your crew through all stages of the project to make sure that the job is done efficiently • Perform physical labor at construction projects related to new construction, demolition, and renovation • Assist with forming and filling foundations • Demolition work • Preparing and installing door frames • General cleaning of work sites • Loading and unloading • Assist other workers such as Electricians, Carpenters, Operators, and Superintendents Qualifications: • Must be able to take direction, work well independently and as part of a team for efficiency and productivity • A high school diploma or GED is preferred • Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools highly preferred • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination, good balance, and have the physical strength to be able to do the work • Experience with construction builds is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates • One year labor experience related to construction is required • Driver's license and ability to travel between work sites is required • Must have the ability to carry out basic verbal and written correspondence, instructions, rules, policies • Must be able to perform basic arithmetic in order to complete job tasks • Must be able to use measuring devices such as tapes and gauges Compensation: $18 hourly
