Responsibilities: • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions • Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution • Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff Qualifications: • Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 yearly
