    POSITION OVERVIEW | JUNIOR UX DESIGNER

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The UX Design Team at The C2 Group bridges the gaps between user experience and visual design to deliver a functionally strong, aesthetically pleasing, and seamless end-user experience for the sites. The Junior UX Designer has the skill not only to create high quality graphics, but the ability to apply their creations to a user-centered design. The role works closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, quality assurance analysts, and the client to bring the goals and objectives of our projects to life for the betterment of the end user's experience.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

    • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in graphic design or user experience design in the IT/technology field
    • Bachelor's degree specializing in graphic design or user experience design or equivalent work experience
    • Strong ability to form creative thoughts/concepts and articulate them through spoken, written and visual communications
    • Attention to detail in client-facing interactions, including all UX/design deliverables
    • Understanding of web design and mobile application standards
    • Working knowledge of front-end development/markup (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Vue.JS a plus
    • Working knowledge of end use technologies (content management systems, intranet systems, customer relationship management systems, etc.)
    • Experience with responsive web site design standards and requirements
    • Ability to handle several projects at once
    • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
    • Understanding of Figma and/or Sketch and/or Adobe Xd
    • Portfolio representing forward thinking in web or application design
