Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Who we are: The Center for New Pathways offers a welcoming space for therapists who enjoy working, learning, and growing as part of a holistic team. Through interdisciplinary collaboration with practitioners across clinical fields, our therapists draw on a range of tools to heal the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Our founder and director, Vito Alberga, has 35 years of experience as a practitioner and teacher in both traditional and alternative therapies, with a core focus on EMDR. Vito provides our team with weekly supervision and consulting, educational workshops, and mentorship opportunities in the areas of complex trauma, developmental trauma, and dissociative disorders.

Who we'd love to hire: We're seeking a full-time/part-time trauma informed EMDR therapist or willing to be trained in EMDR, with recent clinical experience who shares our passion for helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families feel empowered and at peace. We are a collaborative team that provides an inclusive and supportive environment based on our core values of compassion, lifelong learning, positive impact, and deep work.

Responsibilities

Perform intake assessments

Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan

Perform regular wellness checks

Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Qualifications

Master's degree in counseling, social work, or similar field

Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license

Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized
