    The Center for Sleep Apnea and TMJ is accredited through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is Idaho’s ONLY accredited dental sleep center. The standards which are set forth by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine are rigorous, and only the most qualified offices are able to attain such accreditation. At the Center for Sleep Apnea and TMJ we focus our practice solely on the treatment of sleep apnea, snoring, TMJ disorders, head and facial pain. We have limited our practice to the treatment of these issues for over 20 years. We work hand in hand with your physician and your dentist to help alleviate these issues. When appropriate, we may have physical therapists, neurologists, medical sleep specialists, or others join the treatment team in order to provide the most effective treatment possible. Members of our clinical staff have earned certification by the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and are very knowledgeable.

    About the Practice/Job:

    Where: The Center for Sleep Apnea and TMJ is a sleep and TMJ specialty practice located in Boise, ID.

    What: Job duties include:

    Working directly with patients

    Taking impressions

    Fitting and adjusting oral appliances

    Completing medical records

    Writing letters

    Taking x-rays

    When: We would like to fill this position when we find the right individual.

    Who: We are looking for a qualified person to join our great team. The position is for a Full-Time Dental Assistant in a dental office treating sleep apnea, snoring and TMJ disorders. The position will be 32+ hours per week. Hours are expected to be 7am to 4:00pm Monday-Wednesday, 9am-3pm on Thursday (Thursday hours are flexible).

    Basic Qualifications: interpersonal communication skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, and able to type a minimum of 40wpm.

    Preferred Skills: Experience in basic dental assisting, taking impressions, medical training, knowledge of head and neck anatomy. Knowledge of TMD or sleep apnea. Experience with taking x-rays.
