We’re seeking an experienced escrow officer or high level assistant to join our well-established escrow team. You’ll be responsible for managing title files and assistants and conducting closing processes for title transactions. Responsibilities: Monitor progress in compliance with all terms and conditions of purchase contracts Make sure to review all paperwork including title commitments, purchase and sale agreements, and lender instructions to prepare for closing Coordinate the issuance of title policies with title examiner Assure all escrow transactions and escrow accounts are handled in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations Prepare and send out closing packages to buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lenders • Draft required CDs • Conduct all required activities related to post-closing Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of experience working with real estate closing: residential sales, refinance, commercial sales, REO and short sale escrow Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must Firm understanding of real estate law, title and insurance, company policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines Possess a strong understanding of title commitments, mortgage loans, title insurance, and real estate contracts Proficient working with escrow / title software Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 Yearly
