Job Summary

Clarkson McAlonis & O'Connor, P.C. is seeking a Nevada licensed attorney for an associate attorney position. The position is primarily focused on the practice of community association law, including some construction defect work. The practice involves diverse issues in a growing field with a well-established and ever-increasing client base. The work to be assigned to the position will generally be 80% transactional and 20% litigation. The practice of community association law requires the practitioner be a problem solver capable of utilizing a broad range of legal knowledge to address a wide array of problems.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and interpret contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents

Complex and general civil litigation

Prepare legal opinions; determine appropriate application of governing documents, state law, and Federal requirements to included ADA and FHA

Non-Judicial foreclosures, bankruptcy reviews

Negotiate on behalf of clients

Construction defect representation

Salary and benefits shall be determined based upon qualifications, experience, and performance. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Nevada. Prior experience is not required but is preferred. Please apply with your resume, cover letter, and salary requirements. Ideal candidates will have been actively practicing law for at least 3-10 years. Salary package depends on experience.
