Job Description
The Youth Advocate will be responsible for providing direct service and support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence, assist in gathering data to accurately address community needs, organize educational activities to engage youth in shelter, provide parent involved learning activities for children, organize after school tutoring programs for school-aged youth and provide respite care.After-hours and weekend on-call are scheduled as the agency's needs arise.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year related experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must have valid driver's license and vehicle. Competitive salary and benefits.
