As a BMS, your job is to assist your clients with self-regulation and learning the skills necessary for daily life. BMS providers who excel in this position are seeking personal and professional development within the mental health field. BMS providers need to be both highly independent and skilled in teamwork. Our BMS providers become well trained and experienced in problem-solving and meeting a variety of challenges on a daily basis.
Job Description:
Under the supervision of our Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Behavioral Management Specialists work in the school and home with children ages 3-11. Our clients struggle with transitions, aggression, and opposition in their everyday environments and could use a little more support than therapy alone. Behavior Management Specialists utilize therapeutic interventions, document significant interactions daily, and maintain clinical charts as well as other reporting data. BMS providers also commute between clients on a daily basis.

GED or High School Diploma required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to pass CYFD background check

Previous experience with children or youth is a must
