    The loan and client services coordinator is a full-time position that provides support to the Constantine Housing Initiative (CHI) team, serving the Sigma Chi International Fraternity, working to educate and assist 250+ college campus organizations and more than 1000 active volunteers. As an employee of a customer-focused non-profit foundation working in the higher education sector, the loan and client services coordinator needs to be highly organized, well-spoken, professional, committed, and self-motivated with the ability to focus on many client-oriented tasks in support of CHI’s missions.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    LOAN PROCESSING:

    • Review CHI loan applications for quality, completeness, and accuracy and work with clients to collect all required information and documentation for timely processing;
    • Manage, track, and support the internal lending program on a monthly basis;
    • Perform monthly loan and investment financial reports for presentation;
    • Record and distribute settlement checks, agreements, and filing requirements;
    • Facilitate closings with House Corporations, CHI, and Title Companies.

    CLIENT SERVICES:

    • Serve as support for CHI clients by monitoring and responding, as appropriate, to correspondence from incoming email and phone inquiries;
    • Respond to routine client needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items; verifying their accuracy using established agency checklists;
    • Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for account review;
    • Create term sheets, update client contacts, and handle other lending activities, including 120-day advance account review for marketing and refinance letters;
    • Obtain updated records for all House Corporations that currently have a loan with CHI;
    • Review and verify fee payments and process, as appropriate, with accounting.

    ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

    • Assist the Managing Director and staff with day-to-day administrative support such as scheduling meetings, printing, scanning, and filing documents, preparing mailings, disseminating correspondence, and data entry;
    • Prepare proposals and complete applications in coordination with the team; obtain signatures on all applications; follow up to ensure timely receipt of education materials and policies;
    • Additional administrative tasks as requested.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience in insurance, loan processing, mortgages, or similar; or
    • Bachelor degree;
    • 1-3 years of banking, insurance, underwriting, and/or lending experience.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

    • Experience processing loan, legal, or sensitive documents;
    • Knowledge of utilizing QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting software;
    • Strong sense of initiative and ability to self-motivate;
    • Detail-oriented, organized, persistent, and thorough;
    • Exemplary verbal and written customer service and interpersonal communication skills;
    • Ability to manage multiple clients at once while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines;
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools, or controls. Manual dexterity and coordination are required for more than 50 percent of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboards, mouse, and similar machines.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • The ideal candidate will work out of their home office in the southeast region of the US with the ability to travel to the RMF office located in Pensacola, FL as needed;
    • 40 hours per week scheduled between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday;
    • At times high-pressure, fast-paced environment with multiple steps. Performing with accuracy and speed is essential to the successful completion of tasks by key deadlines.

    COMPENSATION:

    • Salary range of $40,000 - $50,000, depending on experience;
    • Willing to provide support for industry licensing;
