    Job Description

    • As an initial point of contact for new and existing customers, the TELLER INTERN enhances customer relationships by providing unique service to accurately process transactions, resolve issues and communicate product opportunities. Strong attention to detail and ability to master a variety of system applications quickly required. Related coursework and prior cash handling experience preferred. 
    • Opportunity for a MARKETING INTERN to gain valuable experience in a collaborative environment with a team of creative Marketing professionals. The incumbent will gain exposure to the dynamic, innovating and fast pace of a Marketing Department, with areas of focus that include social media creation, participation in branding, advertising, public relations, event planning and execution activities. The Marketing Intern will work primarily with the Marketing Team, but will have the opportunity to get involved in the Bank’s community relations by participating in all aspects of Bank sponsored events including the organization of collateral materials, delivery, set-up and attendance at events. As a brand ambassador, the Marketing Intern will be active in networking and community outreach, and assisting with social media content creation and supporting the Bank’s various advertising initiatives.  
    • We are seeking a highly motivated COMPLIANCE INTERN pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree in a Business, Law, Criminal Justice or Finance related major to assist our Compliance Department. Our Compliance Department oversees a wide range of functions to monitor risk and ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulations. This opportunity will provide exposure to industry regulations and Vendor Management. This is a project-based role and will require the ability to work independently. The successful candidate must demonstrate technical expertise and strong excel skills. Ability to handle confidential information required. 
    • Opportunity for COMMERCIAL CREDIT INTERN to gain valuable exposure to commercial lending and broaden knowledge of community banking. Responsibilities include organization and administration of required documentation, update and review imaged documentation, manage reporting for business analysis and provide administrative support. Secondary coursework in the field of Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred. Strong Excel skills to efficiently organize and manipulate data; attention to detail with financial aptitude. Ability to handle confidential information required.

     

    Candidates must have a commitment to superior customer service and excellent communication skills to understand and meet customer needs.  Strong attention to detail and knowledge of MS Office a must.  HS diploma or GED required. All positions are temporary, 40 hours per week and require flexible scheduling from mid-May through August.
