    Our church... is a non-denominational multi-site church with four St. Louis-area campuses where we gather each weekend to study this ancient story found in Scripture that is still transforming lives today. We believe church should be a place where believers in Jesus and skeptics can stand side-by-side to study truth and ask tough questions. We blend teaching and worship with art and technology to create a service where you can experience the message of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways.

    Campus Administrator - Fenton... is a 32 hour per week position that administrates all adult classes and special events for the Fenton campus as well as provides administrative support for the Campus Pastor and Associate Pastor. This role will also administrate men's small groups and men's special events/conferences. The ideal candidate will be highly administrative and detail-oriented and have strong interpersonal communication skills. The Crossing provides an amazing benefit package and competitive pay. This position is mainly weekday hours Monday through Thursday with the occasional evening or weekend for special events.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    For the campus: ****

    • ****Assist various ministries with:

      • Database entry, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and Power Point presentations
      • Mailings and filings
      • Internet Research and travel arrangements
      • Background checks
    • Manage, maintain, and oversee campus budget, credit card and receipts

    • Monitor and maintain meeting rooms, green room, reception area, laundry room, workroom, and kitchen

    • Oversee copier maintenance and provide assistance to staff and volunteers

    • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages

    • Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies for workroom and green room

    • Manage Campus Facebook page and social media efforts

    • Work with Campus Pastor to recruit table facilitators for Vision Dinner and leaders for groups

    • Execute quarterly dinner for attenders (oversee communications, order menu with caterer)

    For the Campus Pastors:

    • Maintain calendar and scheduling for campus pastor and, if needed, associate pastors
    • Assist Campus Pastors & Associate Pastors with special projects
    • Assist with special weekend service projects as needed
    • Type memos and letters, record minutes of meetings as needed
    • Coordinate meetings, events, lunches, travel arrangements, etc. as needed
    • Monitor prayer requests for the campus and respond appropriately

    For campus classes and events:

    • Reserve rooms for classes and be responsible for assembly of appropriate materials (nametags, folders, etc.)
    • Provide administrative support to class teachers and communicators prior to and during classes and special events
    • Recruit, train and entrust volunteers to be part of the administrative class team
    • Work in conjunction with the class administration team at other campuses
    • Maintain budgets related to classes
    • Ensure and maintain accurate records in database system
    • Plan calendar year of campus wide events
    • Manage budgeting and Purchasing for events
    • Recruit Special Event volunteers to help with set-up, execution, and clean-up
    • Work with creative team and pastors to promote events in weekend announcements on-stage, social media, or online as needed

    For church-wide Men's Ministry:

    • Administrate men's special events/conferences

    WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience working in an administrative role
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to provide welcoming experience for Classes and Events
    • Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram for posting campus updates
    • Intermediate level MAC and PC operation skills, specifically for Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
    • Master of time management
    • Good team player
    • Ability to solve problems and provide creative solutions when issues arise
    • Highly administrative and detail-oriented
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Great work ethic - timely and reliable
