The Year Long Production Intern is responsible for assisting in the implementation and execution of the technical production operations as assigned around The Crossing. This role is designed to help raise up leaders for the Church in Production by giving opportunities for growth in areas of audio, lighting, and broadcast video for the church. This role will setup, prepare, rehearse, and execute worship services and events as assigned.
Job responsibilities include the following:
Assist production team in the execution of weekend services, special events, youth crossing services.
Assist the broadcast engineer in the preparation of graphics, cameras, and other tasks related to weekend services and events.
Execute level 1 repair/troubleshooting on systems in conjunction with the Production Technician- Systems
Train volunteers, as needed, in how to execute and operate assigned positions.
Participate in a creative ideas team meeting to learn from others about how to connect people to our services.
Help manage the production inventory as needed.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree (minimum)
Relevant volunteer/serving experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Extensive knowledge and experience on visual presentation including ProPresenter, PowerPoint
