    Job Description

    The Daniel Group Baytown location is seeking a Customer Service Rep for a chemical manufacturing plant in the Baytown area. This is a 6-month temp assignment with a small chance to turn into a perm position for the right candidate.

    MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF CSR EXPERIENCE IN A CHEMICAL AND/OR MANUFACTURING SETTING!!

    Pay is $18-20/hr DOE

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The CSR Support role will be responsible for any and all duties assisting the sales team from preparing samples to answering customer questions and processing customer orders in a manner that facilitates a productive work environment for the sales team, achieves timely responses to customer inquiries and operates in a supportive and detail-oriented manner.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Serve as back up on front desk to senior CSR representative processing orders, data entry and direct shipping/receiving traffic.

    • Answer phone calls respond to customer questions and respond to customer needs in a timely and efficient manner.

    • Serving as the point of contact for customer complaints and completing complaint forms. This also includes corresponding with the customer to document detailed information regarding their complaint and working closely with the QC department to reach a resolution.

    • Maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the sample room.
