    Job Description

    About the job The Dermot Company seeks a Leasing and Marketing Manager, reporting to the asset’s General Manager, who will be directly responsible for managing the day-to-day leasing functions, the renewal process, and marketing/advertising programs for a luxury property in Brooklyn, NY. This position requires a leasing and marketing professional that can drive the performance of the asset to achieve and exceed the property’s budget goals while balancing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with resident communications to ensure the highest satisfaction during renewals. This professional will need to understand market trends, marketing avenues, be proficient in understanding floor plans and layouts, and be adept in communicating and reporting directly to management and external investors. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Set leasing and marketing strategy for the property
    • Tour apartments with prospects and adhere to thorough follow-up procedures
    • Lease and pre-lease apartments
    • Complete applications and lease/renewal documents
    • Review vacancies, walk tour path, and maintain model apartments
    • Assist management with resident relations
    • Make and maintain relationships with industry partners and brokers
    • Maintain weekly leasing reports and monthly market surveys
    • Analyze market and occupancy trends and shop the competition to identify changing market conditions
    • Recommend and track marketing avenues, oversee marketing campaigns and monitor traffic results
    • Responsible for updating the website and marketing sites
    • Other tasks as assigned
    • Weekend hours are required.

    Qualifications:

    • 3 years+ of residential leasing experience in a luxury residential building
    • Minimum of two (2) years of leasing management experience, preferably in a luxury setting
    • Knowledge of Rent Stabilization a plus
    • Yardi and/or On-site experience helpful
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Razor-sharp attention to detail
    • Fun, “can do” attitude
    • Authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
