The Diversity Org is a global nonprofit that teaches low-income and minority students about how to obtain corporate and high-income careers. We partner with large companies where students learn about careers they may not have known existed, participate in professional development workshops with corporate employees, and also obtain access to internships/entry-level positions.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

• Create storyboards, scripts, and pre-production from scratch
• Collaborate with the Creative Team on videos
• Manage equipment (cameras, lights, audio equipment)
• Pitching video overview and timeline to the Director
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to develop new content concepts.
• Communicate with brands for sponsored integrations.
• Edit videos to completion using sound design, voiceover, creative effects and transitions, and engaging storytelling.
• Travel Domestically + Internationally with our team and document the journey.

What makes you a good fit for this role:

• Creative mindset with the ability to formulate and communicate original ideas
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to tailor and adapt content for different audiences and platforms
• 3+ years experience as a video editor, videographer, and content creator.
• Knowledge of influencer/creator marketing and branding
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills
• Leadership qualities and a desire to be innovative in the creative space.

Position Details:

This position is contract based. In this position, you will start on a contract basis and shoot at least one event per month. As we work together, there is a possibility that a full time position may be open in the future.
