FIELD MARKETING MANAGERGreater Philadelphia Area (Supporting the following locations in Pennsylvania: Warrington, Plymouth Meeting, Somerton and Media)
Summary & Reports to:
As the Field Marketing Manager with The Edge Fitness Clubs, you will be managing overall marketing, community outreach and special event planning for new and existing clubs. Your goal should be to come to work each day with a ready to go attitude! As a dynamic, enthusiastic, high energy individual acting as an extension of our corporate marketing team you will drive in-club marketing execution and membership growth while providing valuable market intelligence back to the corporate team.

Duties & Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Responsible for increasing brand loyalty and member counts through strategic planning, performance tracking, creative development and execution of local and in-club marketing activities and events
At the direction of Corporate Marketing, drive execution of corporate marketing strategies relating to company events, special promotions and various internal communications
Manage local club social media accounts to increase digital relevance and generate membership leads
Develop and nurture community partnerships while increasing brand awareness
Along with Sales management, drive membership growth through the identification and acquisition of B2B accounts
Oversee retail product presentation and inventory levels for all Edge product
Partner with corporate merchandising to manage promotional products for all special events
As it relates to new club openings:
Implement marketing strategy for presales
Coordinate internal marketing for new clubs
Lead all Pre-Sale marketing, outreach and branding activities
Key Qualifications:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency with social media platforms
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Creativity, photography and videography skills a plus
Knowledge of the marketplace
Must be able to work flexible hours & weekends
Ability to work with a sense of urgency
Demonstrates a “roll up the sleeves” mentality
Must have a passion for fitness & to help people
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and influence all levels of the organization
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Education & Experience:
A related University degree (in Marketing, Communications or Business) or equivalent experience strongly preferred
2 years of Marketing experience
Knowledge and experience in the Fitness Industry is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software skills with an ability to adapt learning to incorporate new technologies

Physical Demands:
This job operates in the community, the corporate office and the health club environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This position will require sitting at a desk and being on your feet behind the front desk.
Work Environment:This job operates in the community, the corporate office and the health club environment. This position routinely deals with community members, club employees, club members and vendors. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is a high paced environment.
Travel:Travel to Edge markets will be required.
Position type & expected hours of work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.
