HUMAN RESOURCES INTERNSHIP
Summary & Reports to: Reporting to the Human Resources Department you will work on a wide range of projects to assist our department as well as Learning and Development. Ultimately giving our members... an EDGE in life.Duties & Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
New Employee Orientation
I-9 Verification
Filing and I9 pulling
Coordinating employee memberships
Maintain office supplies
Assist with Benefits and Payroll
Attend HR Meetings
Pull files for auditors as needed
Prepare summary spreadsheets in Excel
Print copies for relevant training events
Support with the enrolling and tracking compliance training
Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
Assist with placement of orders
Greet guests when appropriate
Assist with filing and scans
Help Department Heads with any needs (Personal Training, marketing, accounting)

Key Qualifications:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Education & Experience:
College Student earning school credit through internship
Background or Interest in: Human Resources
Must be able to work flexible hours
Must be able to work 2-3 days a week
Ability to work with a sense of urgency
Demonstrates a “roll up the sleeves” mentality
Must have a passion for fitness

Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This role will require walking and standing during entire shift, or remain stationary for long periods of time. This would require the ability to lift weights, 5lbs up to 100lbs and bend or stand as necessary.
Work Environment:
This job operates in the community, the corporate office and the health club environment. This position routinely deals with community members, club employees, club members and vendors. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is a high paced environment.Travel: No travel is required.
Position type and expected hours of work: This is a part-time unpaid position that requires mandatory school credit.
