    MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER

    Summary:

    As the Marketing Project Manager with The Edge Fitness Clubs, you will be managing overall marketing efforts, drive all internal and fitness services marketing needs, community outreach and special event planning for active clubs. Your goal should be to come to work each day with a ready to go attitude!

    Your ability to manage and execute multiple projects at once while working as part of a team through strong communication will dictate your success.

    Duties & Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

    Manage all internal marketing projects

    Manage launch of cross-functional marketing programs and pilots

    Manage promotional, outreach events and activities which include but are not limited to: fitness seminars, on-site events, outdoor group classes, and sponsorships

    Oversee in-club marketing signage and executions

    Function as the primary marketing contact for all internal department communication and active club field marketing support

    Key Qualifications:

    Skilled in project management – formal certification is a plus

    Ability to handle many projects, deliverables and activities simultaneously

    VERY energetic, hungry, driven and collaborative

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    Willing to work flexible hours and on weekends

    Education & Experience:

    A related University degree (in Marketing, Communications or Business) or equivalent experience

    2-4 years of Marketing experience

    Strong Microsoft proficiency – Excel, PP and Project specifically

    Knowledge and experience in the Fitness Industry is a plus

    Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus

    Physical Demands:

    This job operates in the community, the corporate office and the health club environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This position will require sitting at a desk and being on your feet behind the front desk.

    Work Environment:This job operates in the community, the corporate office and the health club environment. This position routinely deals with community members, club employees, club members and vendors. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is a high paced environment.

    Travel:Travel to Edge markets will be required.

    Position type & expected hours of work:

    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.
