The Role of a Certified Exercise Coach:
As a Certified Exercise Coach at The Exercise Coach, your day will include the following:
Conducting consultations for potential new members
Leading individual and small-group exercise sessions
Tracking fitness results for clients
Helping to educate clients
Managing and retailing our clients' memberships
Assisting with client outreach and responding to their messages and calls
Communicating with the other coaches to ensure our clients receive the proper care no matter whom they're working with
No fitness experience is necessary, but candidates with experience in personal training or small-group fitness instruction will receive priority consideration. All employees will receive full training in The Exercise Coach methods and technologies and must be able and willing to participate both in our exercise and nutrition methodology.
Required skills:
Passion for Health & Fitness: This is where it all begins!
Good Communication Skills: You must be comfortable conversing in person and on the phone and know how to conduct yourself professionally, and deliver clear instructions to the clients.
People skills and personality: You must LOVE working with people! As mentioned above you must be very comfortable working with people. This is an exciting studio and you must be able to show your clients energy and excitement while working with them.
Comfort with computer systems: Experience in and comfort with learning new systems since that's how we track and communicate with our clients.
Health and Fitness Education: A college degree or certification in a health-related field is helpful, but not required.

Successful completion of:
The Exercise Coach Certification Course (compensated for by us)
Nutrition Playbook Certification Course (compensated for by us)
Valid CPR/AED certificate from a nationally-recognized provider.
Must be eligible to work in the USA..
Additional Preferred Skills:
Basic nutrition knowledge
Experience with various strength training programs and applications
Experience working with older adults and with various limitations
Business Hours:
6:00 am - 8:00 pm Mon- Thur
6:00 am - 7:00 pm Fri
7:00 am - 1:00 pm Sat
Available Shifts:
Alternating Saturday mornings
Tuesday 1- 8 pm or 4-8 pm
Wednesday 4 - 8 pm
Possibly other afternoon 4 - 8 pm shifts - and morning 8-12 pm shifts
