    The Farm Project and our initiative Lettuce Grow inspires and empowers people to grow their own food. Lettuce Grow is a fast-moving, growing business which provides a broad range of solutions for urban growing systems for individuals and businesses.

    We are looking for an Urban Farm Technician that will be responsible for servicing and maintaining urban growing systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have prior horticultural and leadership experience and be energetic, positive, and passionate about sustainability. Must be hands-on and have strong customer service skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for the maintenance and service of urban growing systems for our residential and commercial clients. Specific responsibilities include harvesting crops, planting new seedlings, cleaning the growing devices, and checking on water and nutrient levels.
    • Must be able to drive our company vehicles to client sites.
    • Frequent interaction with clients including individuals, businesses, and chefs. Must have strong customer skills.
    • Job entails standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting frequently. Occasionally will have to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Hours of work are 40 hours a week from 6am - 2pm Monday through Friday.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Horticultural or sustainability background.
    • Prior management or leadership experience.
    • Excellent oral communication and time management skills.
    • Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude.
    • Good driving record and a valid driver's license.
    • Demonstrated passion for sustainable farming and food.
    • Passion for making a positive impact on the world!
