Job Description

THE ASSISTANT EDITOR IN CHIEF:

-Will assist the editor in chief with managing the release of all written material before it is published to the mainstream outlets

• Proof read submitted articles-stories in the effort to select the most professional and entertaining content that will attract interested readers

• Co-Manage a staff of 3-5 internal writers 

• Schedule press releases

• Maintain a strong marketing presence via social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc)

Qualifications

• Completed or Pursuing a degree-certificate in journalism or media related field

• Ability to maintain a professional approach at all times

• Interests in the MMA/Boxing world
