    The Director of Development and Marketing plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission and goals of TFP. This position is responsible for creating and implementing strategies to increase fundraising revenue, cultivate donor relationships, and enhance the organization's visibility and brand through marketing initiatives. The Director of Development and Marketing works closely with the executive team to develop and execute comprehensive plans that drive growth and sustainability. Responsibilities: Fundraising Strategy: • Develop and execute annual fundraising plans to meet revenue goals. • Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, major donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors. • Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives. • Analyze fundraising data and metrics to assess progress and adjust strategies as needed. • Work with the Board, CEO, Program Director, and staff to ensure communications include stories about survivors and maximal audiences (ie the networks of the board, etc.). Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: • Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring timely and personalized communication. • Develop strategies to engage and retain donors, including acknowledgment, recognition, and stewardship efforts. • Collaborate with the executive team and board members to identify and solicit new donors. Marketing and Branding: • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to increase brand awareness and support fundraising efforts. • Create compelling messaging and materials that effectively communicate the organization's mission, impact, and fundraising needs. • Manage the organization's website, social media channels, email campaigns, and other digital marketing platforms. • Oversee the production of marketing collateral, including brochures, newsletters, and annual reports. • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions. Team Leadership and Collaboration: • Supervise and support the development and marketing team members, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities. • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages teamwork and creativity. • Coordinate with other departments, such as programs and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of fundraising and marketing efforts. • Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community engagements to promote awareness and support. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred). • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or marketing roles, with a proven track record of success. Examples include amounts raised annually ($500,000), numbers of increased engagement for marketing, etc. • Strong understanding of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate the organization's mission and impact effectively. • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and website management. • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and motivating teams. • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute plans to achieve organizational goals. • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including board members, donors, volunteers, and staff. • Knowledge of and passion for the organization's cause and mission. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications for the Director of Development and Marketing position. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving fundraising success and increasing the organization's impact in the community. Schedule: • The typical working hours are Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week, between the hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. • Work is hybrid, remote, and in-person options depending on the supervisor’s request and organizational needs. Compensation: The annual salary range is $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience. Benefits include a $500/month health reimbursement for employees; all regular, full-time employees accrue PTO time at a rate of 176 hours per year or 14.67 hours per month their first year; a mental health day each quarter; 9 holidays and a week-long Winter Break at the end of the year; there is a potential 1-time moving stipend. *A Simple IRA retirement plan with a percentage employer match will be in place by the end of the first year of employment.
