    My name is Josh Stock and I represent THE FOUNTAIN GROUP.  We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an INTEGRATION ENGINEER for a prominent fortune 500 client of ours.  This position is located REMOTE/ Indianapolis, IN. Details for the positions are as follows:

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION  

    Required            

    • Minimum of 8 years related experience in systems, software, or hardware engineering
    • Ability to travel primarily to contractor facilities and flight test ranges for periods of time up to a month during test events
    • Troubleshoot avionics equipment failures real time
    • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance

     

    Preferred           

    • Current/active DoD Secret level or higher clearance
    • Demonstrated successful military aircraft and weapon system integration experience

     

    Description:

    • The Lead Integration Engineer will join our Systems Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN, supporting flight and ground testing for a podded communication link.
    • The Lead Integration Engineer represents the Technologies team at integration events that are led by the Government and the prime contractor on the program.
    • The Lead Integration Engineer provides leadership and guidance to a cross-functional Raytheon Technologies team, planning and coordinating the conduct of integration and test events. The Lead Integration Engineer will provide technical leadership to the integration team, and representing the team at platform and weapon integration events.
    • The Lead Integration Engineer will provide daily reports for program leadership and senior management briefings and participate with the prime contractor and Government for fault isolation of test anomalies.
    • The Lead Integration Engineer will lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Demonstration Readiness Reviews (DRR), maintain the Hardware Utilization Matrix (HUM), and define the test schedule baseline.
    • This position will also help in developing test and integration as well as own test plans, procedures and reports.

     

    Desired Skills:

    • Demonstrated successful military aircraft and weapon system integration experience
    • Experience with bomb racks and launchers
    • Experience with Stores Management System (SMS)
    • Experience using the MIL-STD-1760 aircraft interface
    • Experience with MIL-STD-1553 serial data bus communication
    • Experience with Ethernet and other serial data bus communication
    • Demonstrated understanding of RF communication principles
    • Experience writing integration event test reports (ground and flight) and daily quick-look reports
    • Experience on DoD Internal Research and Development (IRAD, Customer Research and Development (CRAD), Technical Demonstration (TD), System Development and Demonstration (SDD) or Engineering, Manufacturing, & Development (EMD) Programs
    • Experience with weapon systems or special mission military platforms, architectures, capabilities, customers, and/or missions
    • Experience with DoD development process
    • Current/active DoD Secret level or higher clearance
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools

     

    Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree program OR 16 years prior relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
