Job Description:
The Fresh Factory is a market leader in food production specializing in healthy concepts and products with clean labels located in Carol Stream, IL. We provide full-service, clean-label food processing solutions and full-service cold-pressed juice and beverage solutions.
Role:
As a Supply Chain Analyst at The Fresh Factory, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the timely delivery of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to improve our supply chain operations. This could include logistics, purchasing, contracts, continuous improvement or data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to inventory levels, demand forecasting, production schedules, and transportation logistics to identify areas for improvement.
- Material Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate material forecasts to optimize inventory levels and production planning, ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability to meet customer demand.
- Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to streamline procurement processes, reduce lead times, and improve supplier performance.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, recommend and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations and track progress toward objectives.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in the supply chain, and develop contingency plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams including production, logistics, procurement, and sales to ensure alignment and effective communication within the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Relevant work experience will be considered.
- Proven experience in supply chain analysis, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in supply chain management.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Must have strong attention to detail including problem-solving skills
