JOB SUMMARY:

The Funplex Amusement Center is currently seeking someone who will be actively involved in the daily role of operations.  This position works closely with the Director of Operations to oversee the admissions counters and Guest Services.

 The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring that day to day operations in the Park are run successfully and efficiently.  Main responsibilities will include training, supervision of staff, scheduling, guest relations, oversight of opening and closing procedures, safety checks and training, collaborative work with other managers in the park etc. The ideal applicant must have excellent guest service skills with experience directing a large staff, solving issues, guest relations, be comfortable handling large sums of money, cooperation and integration with the Director of Operations and all other inter related departments. Applicant must be self-motivated, a self-starter and prepared to produce results.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities include:

·         Admissions Operations- Responsible for overseeing the staff in admissions, supporting staff with questions and concerns, helping    solve guest issues, and reporting any issues to the Manager on Duty

·         Café- can also assist with any cash handling or issues at the various café locations.

·         Supervise team members during business hours including informing admissions team members of any changes, breaks, and operations under the direction of the Operation Managers.

·         Team Member Engagement – Responsible for the teams’ success by developing skill level, talent and leadership of all team members.  The Admissions Manager is responsible for the retention and development of the Admissions team on a daily basis.

·         Manage closing and opening procedures for operations and team leaders to ensure that cashiers maintain all admissions areas.

·         Manage the daily responsibility lists for cashiers to ensure all procedures and policies are being followed.

·         Leadership – The Admissions Manager must provide consistent leadership, a positive attitude and an unwavering commitment to execution.

·         Safety – Ensure highest level of safety is maintained by adhering to OSHA, local health and safety codes, legal regulations and company safety and security policies.  Ensure a safe working and guest experience environment by requiring safe work behaviors of the team.

·         Oversee a daily schedule for cashiers, guest services, bag check, and retail.

·         Work with the Director of Operations to develop an effective process to ensure a positive experience between guests and team members while at the Funplex.

·         Focus on training cashiers to be self-sufficient. All of our cashiers should know how to ring up all items, handle cash, and deal with guest situations.

·         Inventory of wristbands, Fun Cards, receipt paper, and other admissions items.

·         Work with our Head Cashiers to find their strengths as leaders.

·         Edit the training manual as necessary to provide the best source material for our cashiers.

·         Applicant must have the ability to build, motivate and supervise a strong team of employees & accomplish objectives while working with a team.   

·         Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks. 

·         Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as someone who has attention to detail. 

·         Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

·         Applicants must have at least 2-3 years of previous related experience.

This is a Seasonal position which will run from date of hire until September 12, 2021.  You will be on your feet most of the day and a lot of walking is required.

Pay: $20-$25 an hour based on experience.
