We are immediately hiring a HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR to join our experienced team. The Funplex is an award winning family owned FEC in East Hanover, NJ with 100,000 sq. ft. of rides and state of the art games. We have been offering the finest in family entertainment for over 20 years. Our facility offers a state of the art bowling center, waterpark, as well as 8 rides and attractions.
The Human Resources Administrator will support management to ensure company compliance with all state and federal labor laws. Main responsibilities include, new hire onboarding, maintaining employee records, processing payroll, benefit administration, updating company policies, and the overall administrative support to the management team. Salary is open for negotiation and the position includes paid vacation, PTO, and medical benefits.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for interview follow up to collect all paperwork for new hire onboarding
- Responsible for upkeep of all employee files, digital and physical
- Process payroll and create weekly reports for management review
- Reviewing all employee warnings and terminations for company policy and employment law compliance
- Completing the full process of employee terminations including unemployment phone hearings
- Complete all employment verification and referral requests
- Handle any state or federal audit of payroll or employee files
- Assist upper management draft company memos and policies
- Updating necessary federal and state labor law information including the employee handbook
- Track and input all sick leave, personal day, vacation, jury duty, and bereavement requests
- Responsible for all onboarding and yearly medical benefit paperwork
- Prepare various sales reports for upper management review
- Maintain company legal documents including licenses and business certificates
- Reviewing, scanning, and filing accident report records
- Maintain records for Town health and Fire department review for company compliance
- Continuous support to management for COVID-19 related forms and procedures
- Responsible for purchase order records
- Code and reconcile all company invoices and receipts for review
- Executive administrative support for Upper Management including CEO
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in an administrative position preferable in Human Resources
- Experienced in confidential information administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe
