Job Description

The Furniture Warehouse, a top 100 Independent Furniture Retailer in the country, is seeking to fill a full time Showroom Receptionist position in our Ellenton, FL store. Come be part of a growing team!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting customers as needed, respond to customers questions, and provide outstanding customer service
• Answer incoming calls, direct calls to the appropriate employees, take messages when needed, make calls, and check voicemail
• Perform data entry in the retail software management system
• Print and work daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Review invoice and credit memos
• Process finance paperwork
• Balance cash on hand, prepare bank deposits and make daily bank deposits
• Perform customer survey calls after the delivery has been completed
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication, listening and follow up skills
• Highly organized
• Ability to multi-task
• Professional and positive demeanor
• Ability to pass background check
• Availability to work weekends

COMPENSATION

• $13 per hour
• Profit sharing
