We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Job Description
As the Office Administrator, you will be the face of our organization, managing front desk operations, supporting staff and students, and handling various administrative tasks. This role requires a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a warm and organized atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Receivable: process payments, manage invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and smooth operation of the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Front Desk Operations: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, answer phones, and maintain an organized front desk area.
Student/Teacher Support: Assist with administrative tasks, coordinate communication between students, parents, and staff, and, at times, substitute and support in our preschool classrooms.
Donor Database Management: Maintain and update the donor database, ensuring accurate records and assisting with donor communications.
-Online Presence Management: Oversee and update the organization's website and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in office administration, preferably in a nonprofit or educational setting.
Strong proficiency in database management, email systems, and front desk operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to substitute in a preschool classroom as needed.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
