    The COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR is responsible for managing the occupancy for our Assisted Living and Memory Enhancement units with internal and external relationship building

    POSITION IS FULL TIME AT 32 HOURS A WEEK - TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY (9 TO 4) OR  (10 TO 5)

    BASE SALARY PLUS COMMISSION AND BONUS POTENTIAL

    COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR 

    • Assure a 95% or greater occupancy level through establishing and maintaining relationships with Members, their families and those in the greater Barrington area.
    • Uses Sherpa on an on-going basis for all lead management and driving daily sales calls and activity. 
    • Attends meetings to maintain current census knowledge and to help manage and anticipate needs.
    • Participates in meetings for the sales/move-ins/outs and participates with the team in the development of communication plans.
    • Assures rapid and quality assessments regarding potential new admissions and coordinating with Director of Healthcare/ Director of Nursing.
    • Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing Assisted Living, Memory Care facility marketing activities.
    • Creates a public relations network by attending, coordinating and participating in community relations/marketing coverage at conferences, expos, etc.
    •  Involvement in external senior living organizations, COC and Chamber of Commerce groups.
    •  Takes the lead in coordinating a Garlands education and lecture series, for various CEU events.
    • Conducts periodic personal visits with all influencers throughout the community to seek ways to add to the network and create referrals. 
    • Demonstrates excellent listening skills and communicates effectively while conveying patience and understanding
    • Responds to customers by promptly researching various options and following through with necessary actions in a timely and effective manner.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of The Garlands’ entire facility and directs customers appropriately, according to their needs.
    • Prepares and operates within the marketing and public relations budget. Recommends cost savings opportunities.
