    The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy is a private, non-profit agency that was established in 1987. The Center's mission is to champion the needs of sexually and severely physically abused children through prevention, intervention, therapy, and collaboration. These services are provided at no cost to children who reside in or were abused in DeKalb or Fulton County. The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy's role throughout the criminal investigation is to focus on the child's needs, rather than focusing on the crime itself.

    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Staff Assistant to join our non-profit organization, specializing in children advocacy. As a Staff Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization, ensuring the fulfillment of our mission to protect and advocate for the rights of children.

    Job Duties:
    1. Provide administrative support to the organization's staff members, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
    2. Assist in organizing and coordinating events, workshops, and conferences related to children advocacy.
    3. Manage correspondence and communication with external stakeholders, such as donors, partners, and government officials.
    4. Maintain and update databases, files, and records related to program activities, grants, and initiatives.
    5. Assist in conducting research and collecting data on issues impacting children's rights, to support the organization's advocacy efforts.
    6 Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external use.
    7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication within the organization.

    Requirements:
    1 High School degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    2. Proven experience in administrative or support roles, preferably in a non-profit or advocacy organization.
    3. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    5. Proficiency in using office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
    6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
