    Job Description

     

    Position: Customer Service Representative Summary:

    Responsible for all aspects of customer service ranging from being the primary customer interface to working directly with all internal organizations throughout the entire customer purchase order life-cycle. The duties include assisting the team of regional sales managers by monitoring, following up and proactively resolving inquiries, change and/or complaints.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Responsible for timely and accurate management for all aspects of the customer purchase order.
    2. Receive, review and accurately enter Customer Purchase and Change Orders. Provide status from Operations to Customer, as needed.
    3. Coordinate with Production Control for lead-time, minimum order quantities and other essential information prior to acceptance of the customer order.
    4. Negotiate expedite fees, when applicable.
    5. Leads communications of relevant information between the Customer, RSM, and internal organizations.
    6. Processes Request for Information / Quotation / Proposals with interactions with the Customer, RSM and internal organizations.
    7. Supports the RSM with contract reviews and negotiation preparation.
    8. Document and maintain accurate list of contacts, meeting notes, programs, projects and product usage information for customers.
    9. Accurately document bid status and results in a database system.
    10. Actively participate in company meetings.
    11. Coordinates with all internal departments and leadership to provide accurate customer information.
    12. Accurately completes all administrative duties within required due dates.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum requirement of High School Diploma.
    2. Minimum 1 year customer service experience.
    3. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    4. Detail-oriented, problem-solving skills.
    5. Sufficient math skills to perform job functions.
    6. Able to quickly become proficient with make-to-order products.
    7. Able to quickly become proficient with SAP ERP software.
    8. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    9. Prefer experience within the aerospace industry and/or knowledge of composites technology.
