    Job Description

    As Business Development Analyst (BDA) and ingredient salesperson, you will lead the company’s efforts to expand its presence in industrial ingredients and food service. You will also lead the development of the company’s turmeric business in the ingredients, food service and retail markets. The BDA provides hands-on support and recommendations to promote sales and profitability, working closely with and reporting to the Director, Technical and Global Ingredients Sales.   

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

    • Develop sales plan, take responsibility for achieving agreed targets.
    • Develop sales strategies, goals and objectives for new business opportunities in the areas of industrial ingredients and food service.
    • Develop sales strategies, goals and objectives for business opportunities for our new turmeric division, including industrial ingredients, food service and retail.    
    • Identify new business opportunities and close new sales accounts, meet agreed targets.  
    • Analyze and verify data and information for each new business opportunity project.  
    • Track, forecast and report on project progress, including metrics and challenges
    • Maintain project timeframes, objectives and communications
    • Performs other duties as required or assigned

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, sales, business administration, finance or related field a plus   
    • Experience in sales and sales analytics a plus
    • Proficient in computer technology – Microsoft Office applications
    • SAP experience a plus
    • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
    • Sales orientation – able to achieve sales targets for designated markets
    • Exceptional research and reporting skills
    • Great communication skills and effective presentation skills 
    • Domestic travel required, including trade shows
    • Resourceful and collaborative team player
