    The Glen is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Assistant to join our Culinary Team!!

    The Opportunity:

    Dietary Assistant / Full-Time

    Work Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (4 days on, 2 days off)

    Performs duties as assigned:

    Prep work including, washing, peeling, cutting and seeding vegetables and fruits along with weighing and measuring designated ingredients.

    Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.

    Ensure that the dining room/area is properly set-up prior to and after for meal service period. (Placement of salads, desserts, and beverages, etc.)

    Helps in the dish washing area.

    Deliver food promptly and professionally.

    Demonstrates a complete understanding of all menu items and ingredients.

    Buses tables when vacated. Includes removing dishes, cleaning table top, replacing tablecloth, ensuring all items on table are stocked, and picks up trash on floor.

    Cleaning: chairs, table bases, windows, doors, walls, work areas, equipment and utensils.

    Completes trash detail.

    Qualifications/requirements:

    High school or GED equivalent preferred; or 1-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Must be a people-oriented individual, have good communication skills.

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

    Physical demands:

    Must be able to perform in a high-traffic, high-energy environment.

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; pull, push up to 90 pounds.
