    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Portfolio Reporting Analyst will report to the Portfolio Manager within the Asset Management team and will be responsible for driving enhanced asset performance for both clients and invested capital. The Portfolio Reporting Analyst will support a wide range of asset classes including Solar and Home Improvement Loans, Income Share Agreements, and Student Loans, and will monitor portfolio performance through trend analysis and profitability throughout the loan life cycle. A successful candidate will possess a unique blend of analytics, data visualization, and project management experience with a desire to work in a fast-paced changing environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Mine and extract portfolio data using SQL and Excel in order to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics.
    • Efficiently implement and streamline reporting solutions to support business needs and to help drive operational efficiencies.
    • Collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) to help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards to provide transparency into portfolio performance incorporating enhancements and modifications based on client feedback and the current economic climate.
    • Perform analysis and research to better understand portfolio dynamics, and then recommend and implement strategies to optimize returns.
    • Effectively communicate trends and insights to senior leadership through monthly performance summaries and regular business reviews.
    • Work with key stakeholders across the organization including Executive, Finance, Compliance, Servicing, and Operations teams.

    Education & Other Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar quantitative field preferred.
    • At least 1 year of experience as Data Analyst or Reporting Analyst.
    • Highly proficient at Excel, and either SQL, SAS, python, or other tools for data analysis.
    • Strong written, verbal, and presentation-based communications skills.
    • Able to work independently in a team environment without close supervision.
    • Excellent time management and organization skills, as well as attentiveness to details and a commitment to follow up.
    • Able to effectively manage several tasks in a face-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines.

    Bonus point if you have:

    • Experience working in consumer finance, banking, or collections
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams
    • Experience verbally explaining reports, dashboards, or analytics to senior management
