    This opportunity is perfect for someone who has been an Assistant Director or Director of a small program to grow into a Center Director role. The Director of Operation works with The Director of Education to grow the center.

    The Goddard School® located in Carlisle, PA is looking for a motivated, self-starter for a Director of Operation position at our School. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to motivate and inspire others.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field

    1-2 years of experience as Assistant Director or Director of a licensed child care program is must.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    An inspirational leader and team builder

    Proactive about building relationships with new families and maintaining high enrollment to make sure the students have access to the best curriculum available

    Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude

    Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement

    The director of operation's responsibilities include the following:

    Overseeing the operations of the School, specifically focusing on day to day operation, quality assurance and supporting the Director of Education in educational programming, relationship building and faculty training & development.

    Using a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the School for the future

    Developing strong relationships with our families

    Managing a budget

    Complying with state childcare licensing regulations

    Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment

    Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

    Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education
