The Goddard School of Fort Worth (Northwest) located at 8600 Currency Drive, Fort Worth TX 76131 is a new school looking to add to a new team of professional, dedicated, flexible, energetic and dynamic teachers that are looking for a workplace that’s supportive and fun.     We are looking for full-time and Assistant Teachers and Floaters. Our operational hours are 6:30 am - 6:30 pm. The shifts we are looking for are 9:30 am - 6:30 pm for assistant and floater.

    We are looking for Resource Team Members - no childcare experience is required for this position. The hours are 9:30 am to 6:30 pm for our Resource Team Members. A resource team member starts at $12 - $12.50.

    Part time shifts are from 12 pm to 6:30 pm.

    What we offer:

    · Salary: Assistant Teacher $13.00-$14.00 depending on experience

    Resource Team Members $12 - $12.50 (no childcare experience required)

    Responsibilities:

    Our early childhood teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

    · Feel comfortable and safe working in a brand new, clean, state-of-the-art facility with added safety equipment and guidelines.

    · Feel a sense of accomplishment as you hear the laughter and experience the enthusiasm of children participating in activities that you planned.

    · Observe children’s interest and work with other teachers to develop creative ideas for a fun and engaging curriculum.

    · Experience working with lesson plans/ planning and STEAM activities

    · Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.

    · Engage with other early childhood professionals and continue to grow in your profession.

    Teacher Qualifications:

    · 1 years of early childhood education experience

    · HS Diploma/GED

    · Has knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles.

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Develops relationships with children, parents, and faculty members.

    · Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training.

    · Meets background check eligibility.

    · Works productively without supervision within established policies and procedures.

    · Highly motived and takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    · Dependable, adaptable and enjoys working in teams.

    Must meet these qualifications:

    · Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid

    · Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses

    · Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances

    · Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds

    · Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies

    · Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved

    · Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
