Key Responsibilities:
Child-Centered Learning: Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Individualized Care: Provide attentive and nurturing care to infants, addressing their unique needs and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Effective Communication: Foster open and constructive communication with both children and their families, keeping parents informed of their child's progress.
Behavior Guidance: Employ positive guidance techniques to encourage appropriate behavior and social skills in preschool-age children.
Observation and Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor children's developmental milestones and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Safety and Wellbeing: Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children by adhering to safety guidelines and hygiene standards.
Collaboration: Work effectively with a team of educators and support staff, sharing ideas and best practices to enhance the learning environment.
Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and seek opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education.
Associate/Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or 1-3 years experience in the industry.
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning practices.
-Certified through the Department of Education and Care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient and nurturing demeanor.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
