The Goddard School in Suwanee-Old Atlanta is currently seeking a full time older toddler assistant teacher who is energetic, patient, and a nurturing individual whose love of children and learning make them the perfect fit for our school! Come join a community of committed educators today!

As an assistant teacher, you will enjoy a classroom with a strong foundation of systems to help easily maintain a clean, safe, and healthy classroom. The hours are 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma-minimum

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of early childhood education teaching experience. Preferred toddler experience.

• Reliable transportation to school location daily

• Ability to work full time set schedule, Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00

• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills

• Good work ethic, positive work attitude, and able to work as a team member

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive parent communication and family relationships
• Implement daily schedule and age-appropriate lesson plans -Provide routine daily care routines, including but not limited to diapering, potty training, and food service
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Conduct individual and group activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Work directly with Lead Teacher to meet classroom goals
• Maintain electronic daily communication for each child
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
