The Good Life Dog Daycare and Boarding is looking to fill the following shift times for full and part time availability. * Front Desk/Lobby * Overnights 10pm-6am and 10pm-8am * Yard Staff * Cleaning Shifts At The Good Life Dog Daycare and Boarding we offer 24-hour cage-free dog daycare and boarding services with two indoor play yards for dogs to roam, play, and explore. Whether it is too hot, too cold, too rainy outside, or our clients dog just needs to be a dog for the day, we have created an environment for them to do so. Our mission here at The Good Life is to create a safe, friendly, and fun environment where dogs can enjoy The Good Life and parents will be at ease knowing their dog is spending time with our staff that are not only passionate about dogs, but that have specific skill sets to ensure a safe experience. The Good Life is also a business that prides ourselves in being a part of our community here in Rocklin. JOB QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & QUALITIES: 1. Handling and/or dog behavior training/ experience is a huge plus 2. Detail oriented and willing to data entry, scanning, answering phone calls, talking with clients, lots of cleaning, and organizing. 3. Experience working in a veterinary clinic is a huge plus 4. Strong communication skills with customers and other team members 5. Motivated and excited about dogs 6. Positive attitude, willingness to take direction, and is also a good leader. Must be a team player! 7. Understands the importance of representing TGL in a professional and respectful manner outside of the daycare i.e. at community events 8. Willingness to take part in continuing education provided by TGL 9. Understands that safety and fulfilling our mission is our top priority 10. Must have reliable transportation and searching for individuals that are looking for a set schedule MUST BE WILLING TO WORK HOLIDAYS PHYSICAL DEMAND/WORK ENVIRONMENT Able to access and maneuver independently in and out of a variety of play yards, private rooms, comfy cottages Able to visually, auditory, and physically observe and respond to the physical needs or behaviors of the animals Able to converse in person and via the telephone Able to move quickly to various positions to work with the animals or prevent any potential injuries Able to bend, stoop, squat, or retrieve items or animals from the floor Able to safely lift, carry, move and/or restrain an animal 20-80 lbs. and assist them as needed Able to manipulate clips, fasteners, etc. Able to safely lift, carry or move boxes up to 50 lbs Here at The Good Life Dog Daycare & Boarding it is our mission to create a safe and fun environment for our employees, giving folks the opportunity to grow in their fields and to be a part of something brand new in our community!
