General Description:
Dish Machine Operators/Utility duties include maintaining organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils, practicing food safety and sanitation, restocking kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift, and general cleaning of the restaurant
Job Requirements:
Maintaining the availability of clean dishes at all times
Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines
Bussing tables to collect soiled plates and flatware
Maintains all kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
Taking out the trash
Rinsing garbage cans
Displays teamwork throughout the shift
Follows standardized recipes, preparation, and portioning and presentation procedures
Maintains organized kitchen, dish, and storage areas
Adheres to proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment and notifies management of items needing repair. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization for both the interior and exterior of the restaurant
Cross trains to other positions when opportunities are available
Qualifications:
Good understanding of ingredients, kitchen safety and hygiene
Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation
Able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs
