Job Qualifications:
- Proficient in CAD based design programs, 2D and 3D drawings (sketch-up)
- Proficient at hand and/or computer-based renderings
- Good grasp of plant knowledge as well as landscape construction techniques and requirements
Design Process Responsibilities:
- Attend design consultations with senior designer, take notes, etc.
- Work with senior designers throughout design process including transferring hand sketches to CAD files
- Create deliverables for design consultations including rendered design sketches, materials palette, and 3D images as needed
- Create construction drawings for estimating by sub-contractors or staff from senior designers notes and sketches
- Coordinate with project manager, designer and install manager on questions from sub-contractors on estimating
Resource Library Responsibilities:
- Organize and update materials library on the company server for materials palettes
- Create construction drawing library on server of standard design details
- Organize and input plant specifications into Pro-Landscape program for materials estimating
- Research materials needed for specific projects as directed by senior designers
