BENEFITS: • Salary is negotiable based on experience • Signing Bonus • 401(k) • Health Benefits • PTO • Bonuses • Flexible Remote working available; In-person court appearances REQUIRED Responsibilities: • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action • Keep client files properly organized and up to date • Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed • High levels of self-esteem, empathy, and compassion • Ability to put clients at ease • Understanding how clients’ problems are more than legal problems to them • Exceptional communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Extremely comfortable with technology (and realizes that Smart Phones might be smarter than us) Qualifications: • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Hard-working TEAM player responsible for all aspects of a client's case including communicating with clients and other counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for and attending court hearings, settlement conferences, performing legal research, and preparing for and attending trials • DVRO & Trial Experience Required • Knowledge of CA Discovery Required • California Bar License in good standing is required Compensation: $100,000 - $180,000
