    We Are A Dynamic, Fast-Growing Law Firm Looking For An Experienced Chief Operating Officer To Take Us To The Next Level And Beyond! We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to work directly with our Owners to oversee everything except the practice of law. If you find strategic planning, project management, and critical administrative, financial, and operational oversight, exciting and desire to be in a key leadership role in shaping and sustaining our Firm culture, this might be the right job for you. Prior Experience with EOS or Scaling Up, is a PLUS! This is an executive-level position for a COO who will be responsible for a wide range of activities in all phases of operations, administration, personnel, finances, facilities, and business systems. We need someone with significant hands-on experience in the role of COO. You must have experience managing a team of more than 25+ people and a budget of more than $10MM. Experience growing a business at a rate of at least 50% per year is a plus. We will not teach you how to be a COO, but we will teach you all about the Firm, our culture, and what we have established so far. Responsibilities: You must be able to show evidence of your prior success with: • Business process refinement and systems management to ensure the profitable operation of the Firm • Systems management to ensure matters are handled appropriately so that client needs are met, legal & ethical requirements are met, and clients receive excellent service • Employee leadership, performance management, supervision (and termination) • Understand and use common financial reports to make decisions (budget variance, P&L, cashflow forecast) • Understand Law Firm trust accounting • Management of bookkeeper, accountant, technology systems • Management of Vendors • Understand insurance policies and what insurance the Firm needs • Working with an Executive Level Team Qualifications: What you can do is important. The ideal candidate understands that you cannot manage what you do not measure – and can help us figure out how to build systems to ensure we can measure and manage effectively. Our ideal candidate is not just comfortable with growth and change but thrives in an environment where people are constantly looking to improve the business and themselves. If you only know how to grow a business using capital investors, this is not the job for you. The right person for this position is someone with whom we can develop trust and who will trust in us. The right person for this position will be able to “manage up” to help us help you get your job done. We will define specific KPIs for expected law firm growth, profitability, and culture. Compensation: $140,000 - $165,000 yearly
